Dark Castle Lords Publishing best-selling author, Kate Hofman has honored me by allowing me to be on the covers of her “Golden” series of novels. Golden Adonis, Golden Dreamer, Golden Christmas and her latest triumph, Golden Heir. DCL had a “Win A Date With CJ” contest recently to promote Kate’s newest novel. The winner got to have dinner with me. I even got to choose the winner. Well, I had to pick a number that corresponded with the numerical order of when the person entered. The winner was one of my biggest fans, Mary Everett from Tennessee. Since Tennessee is a good eight hour drive from Akron, Ohio Mary graciously gave the dinner “prize” to her friend, Ann Roher who lives in Akron. Ann, ironically goes to the same gym I do. She is a retired high school and is an author herself. Ms. Roher wrote “Mr. Picky And Me”, a story of a chickadee she hand fed for many years in the woods by her home. It’s an enchanting tale. Ann is an amazing woman as I found out. We met at a Mexican restaurant, Marichi Coco’s, a favorite dinner spot in Akron. The senorita and I had a few margaritas along with a great meal. It was a wonderful evening.

| I enjoyed a lovely dinner last night with cover model C. J. Hollenbach. Thank you for this gift, Mary! Chris (C.J.) is not only one of the best looking dudes in America but also a nice guy and a modern Renaissance man–a great athlete in the gym, well spoken and witty, a writer in his own right, and quite artistic as well, with a touch of boyish naivete that is quite refreshing. Lucky me!I am the envy of untold numbers of ladies and had a great time. Thanks, Chris!

Wow lots happening, since CJ is a good friend I would have to vote for him although there are lots of others I like too. And as for the contest I would love to win since I got robbed just prior to RT and could not go. They stole both my laptops, dvd collection, over $ 700+ in cash plus lots more. Anyway this looks fun.
