Jessica graduated from Loras College with degrees in Creative Writing and Literature. She has taught several Creative Writing courses through the Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth, University of Wisconsin, and has served as a writing mentor in the Young Scholar Program. After serving a twelve year stint in the insurance industry, she obtained early parole which has allowed her to pursue writing full-time. Her work has appeared in the Detroit based literary magazine The Furnace, and she recently signed with DCL Publications for the publication of her first novel in the Women’s Fiction genre. Jessica lives in Madison, Wisconsin, USA with her fabulous husband, her two fat kitties and one fantastic fish.
