Author Kristi Ahlers
Originally a California girl, author Kristi Ahlers now calls Missouri home. Throughout her life however, she has considered many locations in both the US and Europe her home and fondly proclaims, “I love my Nomadic life!”
As an author, her first publication was released in 2003, and having developed a beloved and ever-growing fan base, she has no plans to slow down. Ms. Ahlers has more than proven her literary talents across the board, penning works in many genres for numerous novels and anthologies. A lover of historical romance, that theme takes precedence in many of the books that she writes.
Ms. Ahlers is a former flight attendant and is a proud Military Mom to a sailor and a Marine. She is also a lover of fur-babies, particularly of the canine breeds. When it comes to favorite locations, she is at her happiest when near saltwater or in Paris. There was a time when she lived in Brussels, Belgium, and she would frequent Paris at least once a month, creating memories that she reflects fondly on to this day.
As for reading, she is avid – especially over the works of Philippa Gregory, an author that she wholeheartedly recommends. “She is a fantastic historical fiction author,” Ms. Ahlers notes.
